SAN JUAN AQUARIUM

The municipality of San Juan, the capital city of Puerto Rico, convoked a private competition, and called for proposals for a new Aquarium.

The design team proposed the following:

Two huge ledges rise as enormous sea walls emeging from deep ocean

(as if from the Bermuda's Triangle).

It bring a piece, a chunk, or a small sample of the oceans' blue waters.

Visitors enter the Aquarium as walking underneath the big blue block,

filled with small sharks and little shrimps.
